We all know that fashion week is the starting point for a lot of future trends and the beginning of the year is usually quite hectic for the industry: Haute Couture Fashion Week, Men's Fashion Week and Women's Fashion Week.
I've noticed I tend to focus more on the "big four" (New-York, London, Milan and Paris) but this time, I would like to put emphasis on fashion weeks around the world. Let's start with Berlin, Germany.
Berlin Fashion Week was held at E-Werk from the 16th of January until the 19th of January 2018. More than 40 German brands such as Achtland, One Wolf, Perret Schaad, Irene Luft, Anja Gockel, Rebekka Ruétz, Rike Feurstein, Brachmann, Studio Kaprol, Dorothee Schumacher and Mariana Jungmann just to name a few presented their Fall/Winter 2018 collections to fashion executives, editors, stylists, buyers, celebrities and bloggers.
In this street style selection you will see a lot of crossbody bags, duster coats, oversized sweaters and colorful outfits. It's nice to see that the majority of street stylers added a touch of color to their outfit. You will also notice strong statement pieces like Off-White belts, Max Mara teddy bear and faux fur coats, Gucci T-shirts, Balenciaga Triple S sneakers, Balenciaga Runners Race and Balenciaga Trainers Speed.
