Hello,
Milan Fashion Week kicked off on February 20, 2019 with the Alberto Zambelli show and ended on February 25, 2019 with Aexandra Moura. During this week, more than 60 designers including well established brands such as Bottega Veneta, Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Max Mara, Fendi, Stella Jean, Marni, Prada, Moncler, Missoni, Versace, Gucci, Jil Sander, Salvatorre Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli unveiled their Fall/Winter 2019 collections to the fashion industry.
Milan Fashion Week is my favorite fashion event after Seoul Fashion Week. If I had to describe Italian fashion in a few words, I would say elegant, feminine and effortlessly sophisticated. You will see it for yourself below.
This street style selection features a lot of belted suits, maxi dresses, neutral monochromatic looks and oversized silhouettes. The white Fendi bomber jacket (reference: nappa leather bomber) and the white Fendi midi skirt (reference: nappa leather skirt) are the statement pieces of this selection. Pointed ankle boots, cowboy boots, fanny packs, top handle bags, tinted and micro cat eye sunglasses were adopted by many showgoers.
Check out below some of my favorite looks from Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019.
