Hello,
Paris Fashion Week is the fourth and final stop of the season. 76 runway shows were held throughout the city (Palais de Tokyo, Louvre Museum, le Grand Palais, le Centre Pompidou), from Monday, February 25, 2019 to Tuesday, March 5, 2019. The bi-annual event is organized by la Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Some of the biggest names such as Lanvin, Isabel Marant, Chanel, Off-White, Haider Ackermann, Saint Laurent, Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Miu Miu, Christian Dior, Loewe, Lacoste, Givenchy, Issey Miyake and Balmain showcased their Fall/Winter 2019 collections to editors in chief, fashion directors, stylists, buyers and celebrities. Industry professionals have a key role during fashion weeks because they identify the next big trends we are going to see in stores and fashion magazines.
In this street style selection you will see a lot of oversized suits. I'm a really big fan of this trend because it looks formal but the loose fit will give you a laid back attitude. Showgoers also opted for wide leg pants, asymmetrical skirts and pleated skirts.
Kitten heels from Christian Dior and Chanel, knee high boots and Balenciaga Triple S sneakers were spotted everywhere during this week. A lot of celebrities carried Christian Dior bags especially the saddle bag in blue and the saddle bag lamb leather mini. Lastly, hair clips, bucket hats and orange lens sunglasses are making a comeback this season so get ready.
