I can't exactly remember when was the last time I posted an article about my personal style. Since temperatures are finally warming up in Paris, I thought it would be nice to shoot a new look.
I have always been a fan of suits. I think it's a versatile item that can easily be dressed up or down. Here, I'm wearing a black double-breasted blazer from a brand called Nana Love. I styled it with a v-neck ribbed bodysuit from Forever 21 instead of a plain t-shirt to create a more feminine and effortless silhouette.
To create this set, I added a black palazzo pants from Boohoo. I'm obsessed with it because it's high waisted and stretchy. It's like a pair of buffet pants, I can eat as much as I want without feeling restricted in it ;-). When I'm creating a look, comfort is always my main concern. Plus, I like pairing a formal piece with a more casual one to give my outfit a balanced look. I styled this power suit with my black and white Vans (reference: Old Skool) to make it more wearable but you can always replace the sneakers by a pair of high heels for a total glam look.
Lastly, I have always been very minimalist when it comes to accessories. I usually try to find one or two unique pieces that will complement my outfit. For this look, I wore a turquoise bracelet that a friend brought me back from Tulum, Mexico and I carried a clear bag with wooden handles from Shein. You can put your belongings inside the linen basket bag that way nobody is going to see what's in it or you can simply remove it.
See below more details of this monochromatic look.
