Jacquemus S/S 20 show

Hello,

On June 24, 2019 Simon Porte Jacquemus celebrated the brand's 10th anniversary in his native region Valensole, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence Department. This city is well known for its lavender fields. If you ever happen to visit South of France, I highly recommend it. You will not regret it.

The ready-to-wear collection is called "le coup de soleil" (sunburn) and for the first time, the show was mixed. It featured a lot of oversized blazers with giant pockets, belted blazers, bermudas, extra large pants, mesh crop tops, unisex blouses, floral maxi dresses, backless mini dresses, front slit midi skirts and linen suits.

To me, this collection is perfection. If I ever decide to invest in a French designer piece Jacquemus would be on top of my list. He is one of those designers that I truly admire. He started his brand at 19 years old and won the LVMH prize in 2015 (which support young designers around the world).

Take a closer look at the full collection below.

I f you want to learn a little bit more about Simon Porte Jacquemus, you can also check my previous post right here.
