Hello,
The fashion month marathon continues and our next stop is Milan. From Tuesday, September 17 to Monday, September 23, 2019, emerging designers and luxury houses such as Marco Zanini, Vivetta, Moschino, Fila, Bottega Veneta, Blumarine, Francesca Liberatore, Gucci, Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi, Etro, Marni, Alexandra Moura, Prada, Missoni, Alberta Ferretti and Versace presented their spring/summer 2020 collections to the media, fashion editors, trend forecasters, buyers, stylists, photographers and celebrities.
Milan never disappoints. This street style selection is sophisticated, feminine and very colorful. Oversized style is a one of the biggest trends of the moment. It's all about exaggerated proportions, menswear and effortless silhouettes. A lot of showgoers adopted for this trend. You will see plenty of oversized tailored suits, blazers, long sleeve maxi dresses, coats and palazzo pants. I have also spotted bold monochromatic looks and quite a few leather pieces.
Three accessory trends emerged from this selection: the Maison Margiela Large Glam Slam Bag (oversized puffer bag) which is without a doubt one of the It bags of the season, black combat boots and snake print knee high boots. Expect to see them everywhere in the coming months.
I have compiled some of my favorite street style moments from Milan Fashion Week S/S 2020. You can check them out below.
