Seoul is one of the biggest emerging fashion city in Asia. Koreans are known for not being afraid of experimenting groundbreaking looks. That's why it's always a pleasure for me to see what's hapening during Seoul Fashion Week. The bi-annual event took place at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (281 Eulji-ro, Euljiro 7(chil)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea) from Monday, October 14 to Saturday, October 19, 2019.
47 brands were selected to participate in this year's edition. Youser, Han Chul Lee, D-Antidote, Moon J, D.Gnak, Bourie, Maxxij, Dozoh, Münn, Kye, Romanchic, Dew E Dew E, Songzio, Lie and Kumann Yoo Hye Jin presented their spring/summer 2020 collections to the fashion industry.
This street style selection features a lot of streetwear, athleisure and vintage pieces. Some showgoers opted for minimalist and monochromatic looks while others chose more colorful and daring outfits. Every year, I see more and more women wearing the traditional Korean dress called Hanbok. In this gallery, you will find a lot of fashion students and even young children with a sense of style already well defined.
