Hello,
Winter is around the corner, I still can't believe we're going to be in 2020 in a couple of days. This year hasn't been the best for me, I'm ready to move on and start fresh. Anyway, I digress, let's go to the original post.
Let's forget about ankle boots, this season it's all about knee-high boots. This 60's footwear trend is making a huge comeback and I'm not complaining. I already know it's going to be my new fall/winter staple. However, I still need to think about the type of knee-high boots I'm going to buy because they exist in so many different fabrics and patterns: leather, cowhide leather for cowboy boots, velvet, suede, faux snakeskin and crocodile texture.
The good thing with knee-high boots is that they look great with everything. You can layer them over pantsuits, culottes, oversized sweaters (if you like Ariana Grande's style), wrap maxi dresses and midi skirts. I would personally style them with a midi skirt. I really like when there's no gap between the skirt and the boots. It's a great way to elongate your legs and create a super elegant silhouette.
You can easily incorporate this retro trend into your everyday style. Take a look below at some of my favorite street style knee-high boots outfits.
Thank you for stopping by.
