I hope everybody's doing well and getting ready for the holidays (for those who celebrate Christmas). Today, I'm going to talk about my favorite accessory of the moment which is the oversized clutch most commonly known as the pillow bag simply because it's large, soft and shaped like a fluffy pillow. I've always had a love-hate relationship with accessories because I'm very minimalist and I like to keep things simple but I'm slowly starting to get back into handbags and I think it's true, an outfit is not complete without it.
You've probably already seen the pillow bag trend everywhere. The most popular ones are from well-known fashion houses such as Maison Margiela, Bottega Veneta or Celine. The bag looks pretty basic in black, I would definitely buy a colorful one, probably turquoise (just like the one on the profile picture). There's no handle on a pillow bag so you have to carry it under your arm. That's usually how we (French people) hold our baguette (French bread) haha. You can also carry it more nonchalantly on your hip. I have gathered some of my favorite pillow bag looks below.
