February marks the beginning of the fashion week season. Let’s start the marathon with Copenhagen Fashion Week (February 1 - 4, 2022). The bi-annual event was a mix of 7 digital presentations and 21 physical shows. Emerging Nordic brands and well-known designers such as Martin Asbjørn, Soeren Le Schmidt, Samsøe Samsøe, Munthe, Stine Goya, Lovechild 1979, Skall Studio, Ganni, Marimekko, Gestuz, Fassbender, Baum Und Pferdgarten, Saks Potts and Kerne Milk presented their Fall/Winter 22 collections to creative directors, buyers, editors, PR manager, stylists, photographers and influencers.
In-between shows, the public had the possibility of attending exhibitions and digital conferences about fashion sustainability, sourcing fabrics responsibly and the future of diversity and inclusivity.
The rain and the snow didn’t stop showgoers from wearing their best outfit. This street style selection is full of eye-catching patterns and bright colors. Photographers spotted all the latest accessory trends in the streets of Copenhagen, from the hourglass bag and neon square knife pumps from Balenciaga, the baguette bag and platform derby shoes from Prada to the mini shopping bag from Telfar and knitted balaclavas.
