Create a casual look with thrifted pieces

Good afternoon,

When I go shopping whether it's online or in physical stores, I usually don't know what I'm looking for. I just know what I need when I see it. I was on Vinted (a European resale application) the other day and this turquoise sweater popped up on my feed. If it’s not your first time on my blog, you may have noticed that I love vibrant colors. It puts me in a good mood and I think it goes well with my dark skin tone. The round-neck sweater is originally from a brand called Nublend. The pictures of the article were a little bit blurry so I wasn't sure about the size. I quickly checked the description and I was happy to see that it's a size large. It honestly took me less than five minutes to buy it (6 euros)! It came from Vinted Belgium so I received it within a week.

I have paired the oversized sweater with a light wash denim shorts. Daisy Dukes are not really my style, I feel much more comfortable in Bermuda shorts. I found this one in a second-hand shop in Paris. I couldn’t try it on because the dressing rooms were closed (Covid-19 safety measure). Of course, I had to forget my measuring tape that day. Luckily, I knew it would fit me just by looking at it. The fact that it’s a non-stretch denim is a huge plus. I prefer jeans who don’t soften after a few wears. It’s originally from Asos and I got it for 1,50 euros!

As usual, I kept this look very minimal. I’m not wearing any jewelry. I’m carrying a clear handbag from Aliexpress. I bought it five years ago when I was still consuming fast-fashion. I probably got it for 4 euros. My white chunky sneakers are from Amazon (24 euros). They’re lightweight and extremely comfortable.
