Create an elevated look with thrifted pieces

Good afternoon,

I hope you’re doing well. Since my last article, the French government has gradually eased Covid restrictions. Since June 9, 2021, restaurant owners have now the right to reopen for indoor dining (50% capacity). The curfew moved from 9 p.m to 11 p.m. It will be fully lifted on June 30, 2021.

I have probably mentioned it before but I’m a tomboy at heart. 80% of my wardrobe is made up of menswear clothing. My challenge for this summer is to wear more feminine outfits. I can’t wait to show my next looks.

I have created a minimalist thrited look for this photo shoot. I can't tell you how many times I have worn this oversized blazer. This wardrobe essential goes with everything. I'm usually not a fan of neutral jackets but I think this taupe color goes well with my skin tone. It was in perfect condition and it was only 3 euros!

Next, I decided to style this menswear blazer with a gray t-shirt underneath. It's originally from Zara and I got it for 3 euros as well. To balance out the masculine silhouette, I opted for a summer staple: the wrap skirt. I'm obsessed with it because it creates a more defined waistline and it also draws attention to your legs in a very subtle way. Perfect for all occasions, you can easily dress it up or down. I'm wearing a size medium and it fits just right. It's originally from Etam (French brand) and I got it fo 5 euros. I have never been much of a jewelry person but when I do, I like wearing bold and fun pieces. I opted for a pair of pastel orange earrings from Bershka. I think I bought them two or three years ago. Finally, I'm wearing a black faux leather bag (Christmas present) and black kitten heel sandals. They're super comfortable. I bought them in a little Parisian store at Opéra (9th arrondissement of Paris) for 16 euros (not thrifted). Keep scrolling to see more details of this minimalist and elevated thrifted look.
