Good afternoon,
I hope you're doing well. It's finally spring and I think we all know what it means, it's time for a wardrobe switch-up. The weather is still a little bit chilly in Paris. It's not warm enough to go out with a just sweater. However, we can put away our puffer jackets and replace them by trench coats and leather jackets. We'll soon be out of that in-between weather.
It's been over a year since I have drastically reduced my fast fashion consumption. The other day I was looking at my wardrobe when I realized that 90% of my clothes are thrifted. I'm not saying I'll never buy clothes from fast fashion companies ever again but I'll definitely try to shop more responsibly.
For this photo shoot, I wanted to create an effortless daytime look. I found this 3€ navy blue blazer in my favorite thrift store (unfortunately closed for good). I have to admit, I'm slightly obsessed with menswear blazers because they give off a cool 80's vibe and they usually have power shoulders. Next, I added a cream ribbed top underneath that cost me 3€ as well. I completed the look with a pair of blue baggy jeans (5€). I smiled when I saw the knee patch because it brought back childhood memories. When I was in kindergarten, my mom used to sew knee patches on my pants because I often came home with grass stains haha.
Lastly, I'm carrying a pvc handbag from Aliexpress (4€). My footwear choice is super simple. I opted for clear heels. I think I bought them three years ago so I don't exactly remember the price. When it comes to shoes, I'm all about practicality. I only wear mid and low heels. Keep scrolling to see the final result.
