How to dress like a K-drama actress

Good afternoon,

I'm a huge fan of Korean dramas and I thought it'd be nice to challenge myself by recreating a look. I'm currently watching a funny TV show called Once again.

SYNOPSIS
Song Young-Dal and Jang Ok-Boon have been married for many years and they have 4 children: Joon-Sun, Ga-Hee, Na-Hee and Da-Hee.
Third child Na-Hee is a doctor and she works with her husband Doctor Kyu-Jin at the same hospital. They fell in love during their medical school days and got married, but their marriage life is not doing very well. Meanwhile, the first child Joon-Sun and the second child Ga-Hee are both divorcees and live with their parents. The youngest child Da-Hee struggles as an intern at a company.

For this article, I was inspired by a character named Song Ga-Hee (played by Oh Yoon Ah). She's a strong interest in fashion. I've noticed that she doesn't stick to one specific style and she always makes sure to inject colors into her wardobe. In episode 21, you can see her in a comfy business look. She paired a beige oversized blazer with a bold orange t-shirt and a white high-waisted culotte jeans. She accessorized her look with a bucket bag and laced heels.

When I go thrift shopping, I usually find more clothes in the men section. I was happy to find a similar blazer so quickly. In the store, everything was organized by styles and colors. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the price tag: 3 euros! I didn't hesitate for a second and bought it.

After this first successful stop, I went to a different store and found a bright menswear t-shirt. It's a size L and it's from Levi's. It cost me 3 euros as well. The next thing on my list was the white jeans. I went to 3 other vintage stores but I didn't find anything. Since I was only 5 train stations away from Primark, I decided to go there and see what I could find. I guess it's my lucky day because I found the last white mom jeans in my size (European 38). I only paid 16 euros.

To complement this look, I added a faux leather bucket bag. I think I bought it 2 years ago. Lastly, I'm wearing super comfortable clear kitten heels from Shein (14 euros). I'm not going to lie, I'm very lazy when it comes to heels so if you're like me, I highly recommend block heel sandals. In total, I spent 36 euros (£32 or $40) for this look. I had a lot of fun recreating this K-drama look. I'll definitely do it again!
