How to style a vintage polka dot skirt

Good afternoon,

I hope everybody's doing well. I still can't believe we're only four months away from Christmas! I think we can all agree on the fact that 2020 has been a rough year. Hopefully, the situation will get better in the next couple of months. In the meantime, stay safe wherever you are.

Shooting this look was a little bit of a struggle because we are currently having heatwave in Paris. It was 37°C (98,6 °F) that day. Anyway, I went back to Montmartre because there are so many places to explore in this area. This time, I went to the carousel. It's only five minutes away from la place Saint-Pierre and the metro.

After my blue monochromatic look right here, I wanted to create a more feminine look. I opted for a black ribbed racer top from H&m (9€). It's one of those wardrobe staples that will never go out of style. I decided to pair it with this vintage floral polka dot skirt (only 5€). The smocked waist makes it super comfortable. I guess it was my lucky day because it was my size (medium). When you go thrift shopping, it can be hard to find clothes that fit you perfectly because all the pieces are unique. It's like going on a treasure hunt. You never know what you're going to find.

I'm also wearing a black faux leather crossbody bag from Aliexpress (10€). Since I wanted to keep the look casual, I added my favorite pair of sneakers, the Vans Old Skool.
