After London, let’s go to Southern Europe for Milan Fashion Week. The bi-annual event was organized by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (Sept. 22 – 26, 2021). More than 40 luxury houses and emerging brands such as Alberta Ferretti, Marni, Emporio Armani, Versace, Sportmax, Fendi, Prada, Blumarine, Max Mara, Etro, Missoni, Versace, Luisa Beccaria, Jil Sander, Salvatore Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli presented their spring/summer 22 collections to the fashion industry. Just like New-York and London, Milan Fashion Week was a mix of runway shows, presentations and virtual shows.
In this street style selection, you will see a lot of tailored suits, monochrome looks, cropped silk shirts, knitted sweaters, knitted midi skirts and colorful ankle length coats. Prada slingback pumps, derby shoes worn with socks, Fendi mules with architectural construction, knee-high boots and Amina Muaddi's 70's platform sandals were the biggest shoe trends of this selection. Lastly, you will have plenty of options for accessories. Fashion week attendees finished off their outfits with gold jewelry, headscarves, baguette bags, oversized clutches, colorful mini bags and rectangle sunglasses.
