February marks the beginning of a long-month marathon. New-York city is the first stop of the Big Four. From Thursday, February 6 to Thursday, February 13, 2020 more than 80 innovative designers including Sies Marjan, The Row, Rodarte, Monse, Zimmermann, Tom Ford, Laquan Smith, Self-Portrait, Oscar de la Renta, Christopher John Rogers, Brandon Maxwell, Chae New-York, Longchamp, Vivienne Hu and Pamella Roland showcased their fall/winter 2020 collections to the media, fashion editors, buyers, stylists, beauty directors, photographers and celebrities.
This street style selection varies from monochromatic looks and leather pieces to layered sweaters over maxi dresses, long fur and teddy bear coats. As for shoes and accessories, you will see a lot of croc-effect thigh high and combat boots. The mini bag trend is still going strong. The Pouch, the Shoulder Pouch and the Padded Cassette bag from Bottega Veneta are definitely the It-bags of the season. The Italian luxury brand currently has some of the best accessories on the market. Lastly, I have also spotted many showgoers with colored sunglass lenses and gold layered necklaces and gold hoop earrings.
