New-York City is the first official stop of the big 4 (followed by London, Milan and Paris). The event took place from February 11 to February 16, 2022. This fashion week was a combination of virtual presentations and in-person runway shows.The Council of Fashion Designers America (CFDA) took Covid-19 sanitary measures. All the participants to live shows had to be fully vaccinated and wear masks indoors at all times.
Emerging labels and household names such as Telfar, Peter Do, Khaite, Dion Lee, Prabal Gurung, Victor Glemaud and Wes Gordon of Carolina Herrera, Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, LaQuan Smith, Helmut Lang, Tibi, Christian Siriano, Coach and Jason Wu displayed their Fall/Winter 22 collections at Spring Studios.
This street style selection is made of colorful layered looks and creative spring outfits. You will see plenty of puffer jackets, leather trench coats, oversized suits and see-through maxi dresses paired with blazers. Show-goers didn't forget to add the finishing touches to their outfits with some of the trendiest accessories ranging from rectangle sunglasses, bandanas to balaclavas, Balenciaga hourglass bags, Bottega Veneta mini Jodie bags, Coperni mini swipe bags and Prada bucket hats.
