Paris Fashion Week marks the end of an intense fashion month. The French capital was buzzing with excitement. From Monday, February 24 to Tuesday, March 3, 2020 more than 75 shows and 28 presentations were held throughout the city. Runway shows are only opened to people who work in the industry. The good news is that today, more and more brands are starting to broadcast their shows on their website or directly on social media. You can watch a lot of runway shows from the comfort of your home. Ok, you're not going to be sitting front row next to Anna Wintour but still, I think it's a great initiative for all the fashion lovers.
Local and international designers such as Saint Laurent, Dior, Loewe, Isabelle Marant, Lanvin, Maison Margiela, Mugler, Dries Van Noten, Celine, Lacoste, Rochas, Marine Serre, Off-White, Kenzo, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Haider Ackermann, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Hermès, Comme Des Garçons, Kenneth Ize, Guy Laroche, Elie Saab showcased their latest Fall/Winter 2020 collections to magazine editors, buyers, PR teams, stylists, trend forecasters, brand strategists, merchandisers, editorial photographers and celebrities.
Leather was definitely the key trend of this street style selection. It's one of those fabrics you can wear all year long. You will see lots leather blazers, leather trench coats and leather blouses. Lumberjack-inspired coats from Dior, padded jackets and ankle length coats were seen everywhere in the streets of Milan. Many showgoers accessorized their looks with berets, bucket hats, gold jewelry, crossbody bags and oversized leather clutches. Lastly, you will see the usual thigh-high boots and black combat boots.
