Paris Fashion Week marks the end of fashion month. The bi-annual event ran from Monday February 28 to Tuesday March 8, 2022. The eight-day schedule was filled with 97 physical and digital shows. Renown fashion houses and emerging brands such as Miu Miu, Patou, Courrèges, Alexandre Vauthier, Lanvin, Marine Serre, Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Christian Dior, Gauchere, Schiaparelli, Valentino, Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Coperni, Hermès, Sacai, Acne Studios and Givenchy showcased their fall/winter 22 collections to the media, buyers, editors, creative directors, stylists, celebrities, photographers and fashion influencers.
Bold and vibrant colors like yellow, orange, pink, fuchsia and turquoise were seen on many show-goers throughout the week. This street style selection features a lot of maximalist looks with modern silhouettes, plaid mini dresses from Dior, colorful suits, vinyl and leather pants, tailored blazers with cut-out details, 70’s flare pants, maxi dresses layered over sweaters and chunky socks paired with heels.
The streets of Paris were also flooded with all the biggest accessory trends of the season. Expect to see a lot of Bottega Veneta mini Jodie bag, colored lens sunglasses, baseball caps paired with formal outfits, Jacquemus shearling and suede shoulder bag, Coperni melted swipe bag, croc-effect knee-high boots, gold earrings and colored plastic rings.
