Paris Fashion Week closed the spring/summer 2022 international calendar. The bi-annual event took place from September 27 to October 5, 2021. This year, the schedule featured 26 presentations, 59 digital and in-person shows. French and international brands such as Marine Serre, Christian Dior, Kenzo, Balmain, Elie Saab, Isabelle Marant, Dires Van Noten, Chloé, Givenchy, Hermès, Nina Ricci, Ami, Altuzarra, Paco Rabanne, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela presented their ready-to-wear collections to buyers, stylists, fashion editors, creative directors, celebrities and PR teams.
In this street style selection, you will see tons of trench coats, neutral quilted coats, cut-out knitted sweaters, colorful midi skirts and lots of leather pieces. In terms of accessories, the mini oval-shaped bag from Coperni was definitely the it-bag of the week. Many showgoers were seen wearing rectangle sunglasses and silk headscarves. This trend reminds me of old Hollywood movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly. It's so simple yet so chic.

K-pop fans were happy to see the girl band BLACKPINK. All the members are global ambassadors of French fashion houses. Rosé went to Esplanade du Trocadéro (the greatest spot to view the Eiffel Tower) for the Saint Laurent show. Jisoo sat front row at the Dior show (Jardin des tuileries). Jennie went to le Grand Palais éphémère in a a red monochrome look for the Chanel show. Lisa is the ambassador of Celine however, the brand wasn't scheduled this season.
